Dragon Plastics
Cor van Gils is the founder and current managing director of Dragon Plastics. From the start of Dragon Plastics in 1985 the company moved after 2 years to Sint-Maartensdijk. In 1990 a second move took place, following a third time to the location in which it still is. Nowadays the company has 25 employees, who are dedicated to the development, designing, fabricating and the assembly of products and semi-products produced by rotomoulding.
Since 1999 Dragon Plastics has a sister company in Dolny Ohai in the Slovakian Republic, a country which Cor van Gils is fully aware of the cultural Ins- and Outs and visits for some years now. Ten employees are working in that company on practically the same products as the Dutch establishment. Despite the lower wages and excellent work mentality in the Slovakian Republic no production is done for countries in Western Europe. This is because of the transporting costs of mostly big and non-stackable products. They produce for Eastern Europe.
